The Summer Term is upon us and with this dawn of a new term comes the anticipation of so many exciting activities - both customary and those new to the calendar.

The customary residential visit to Colomendy by the Year 5 children is looked forward to even more this year, as the children will have the opportunity to experience Colomendy's brand new facilities.

Following the rigours of their SATS exams, Year 6 will enjoy a residential visit to Stephen Park - a converted farmhouse set in the middle of a forest area outside Clitheroe.

Most other classes will be planning educational day visits to a range of locations and no matter what the theme of the visit is - the excitement and enthusiasm will be the same.

There will also be a range of activities celebrating Liverpool's 800th Anniversary, culminating in a children's party in the last week of term in July.

Customary sports like Rounders and Athletics will take place as usual - indeed children were asking the question - 'When does Athletics practice begin, Sir?' several months ago!

So 'Good Luck' to all the children and staff as they set out on what will be a very busy and interesting term!
